Amid Castellum’s push for acquisitions, the government technology services company has given its chief growth officer added responsibilities and adds a second executive to the team.

Glen Ives will serve as president of government sales and operations alongside his other role as chief growth officer, Castellum said Monday.

Ives joined Castellum in early 2021 from his prior role as CEO of Sabre Systems.

Potomac, Maryland-headquartered Castellum’s second major hire announced Monday is its new head of technology development and compliance in Daniel Turissini, who will focus on developing the company’s internal service capabilities.

Turissini will lead the effort to align those capabilities to those offered to government customers for their national security-related missions, Castellum said.

In addition, Army Brig. Gen. Craig Nixon joined Castellum as a senior adviser to the CEO with his areas of focus being opportunities within the special operations community and Army. Nixon has been a member of Castellum’s advisory board since March 2011.

Castellum is seeking to become a $25 million-annual revenue entity so it can list on the New York Stock Exchange American. That market primarily supervises trading of shares in small and mid-cap companies.

The company lists its key areas of focus as including IT, information warfare, cybersecurity, electronic warfare, systems engineering, software engineering and software development.
