Reuse is commonly viewed as one of the main benefits of using Service-Oriented Architecture. However, many organizations that adopt SOA struggle to establish methods for identifying and provisioning reusable enterprise services. The 14th SOA for e-Government Conference--Achieving Service Re-use—on Tuesday, October 2, hosted by MITRE and the Federal Government SOA Community of Practice, will feature case studies and opportunities to interact with speakers and panelists as they describe best practices for service reuse in the federal government. Join the conversation as we explore the concept and benefits of a Service Factory to improve reuse. Learn about the Cloud and its role in Big Data. Featured speakers include Ajay Budhraja, Chief Technology Officer, U.S. Department of Justice, IR and Wolf Tombe, CTO, Customs and Border Patrol, Department of Homeland Security, Co-Chair of DHS SOA Working Group.
The conference will be held at MITRE’s McLean, Va., campus from 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. Participation is free but registration is required.
