4G - The Power, the Impact, the Vision
What is 4G? 4G - the successor to 3G and 2G families of standards - stands for the fourth generation of cellular wireless standards. Simply put, 4G will deliver a wireless speed and performance experience similar to, and in many cases better than, the wired solution in your home or office.
But what does this all mean? Why is 4G being used so loosely in the media? What are WiMAX and LTE and what other technologies are out there? Find out the answers to all your questions by attending this Tech Innovations Committee event on March 15, where you can see this "game changer" in action. Alcatel-Lucent, Sprint and Verizon Wireless will perform a live demonstration to reveal how 4G makes live-streaming video a reality over wireless.
