Many organizations are challenged to increase performance, competitiveness, sustainability and deliver better results. The ASQ is proud to host an informal presentation and discussion with Dr. Michael Perich. Dr. Perich will tell the story of how the Montgomery County Public Schools became the most recent recipient of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. These lessons learned can be applied to any employees or leaders of any organization trying to gain improvement momentum or change its organizational culture. Bestowed each year by the President of the USA, the Baldrige Award is the highest presidential honor an organization can receive for performance excellence through innovation, improvement and leadership. MCPS is the first Maryland organization to be a Baldrige recipient. MCPS was also one of five finalists for the 2010 Broad Prize for Urban Education, the nation's top honor for school districts closing the achievement gap. Dr. Michael Perich, of the Montgomery County Public Schools, has been a leader in the ground breaking improvements that have been made by the one of our very own local institutions. Come out and join in the discussion. Event is free but an RSVP is required. Please RSVP at the link below
