Positioning your Organization for the Green Government Executive Order (EO 13514) The Green Government Executive Order 13514 (EO 13514) was signed to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance in federal agencies. The order details green initiatives for federal agencies to implement, including energy efficiency requirements, greenhouse gas emission mitigation, water conservation, and recycling. Unlike many other executive orders, however, EO 13514 contains considerable detail for specific goal-setting and reporting requirements. An update to the May 2010 NVTC Green Technology Event, join the new NVTC Smart Energy Committee for a panel discussion about how EO 13514 affects government contractors, how to develop plans for clients, and how to operate and respond to RFPs under the EO. Speakers: Dona Dickinson, Principal Architect and Director, Energy and Environment, Advanced Technology Group, Northrop Grumman Corporation Chris Steuer, Manager, Climate Change and Sustainability, ICF International

Registration Opens: 02/01/2011 Cost: NVTC Member: $45; NVTC Non-Member $75
