The vendor debates in the morning session will focus on Vendor Strategies, Roadmaps and Product offerings to move into the cloud and how ITSM discipline can be best leveraged. The vendor debates in the afternoon will focus on Success stories, lessons learned from early implementation, benefit of good governance and what ITSM skills will be valued in the Cloud paradigm.
The morning keynote speaker is Peter Daniels, VP, T. Rowe Price Associates. Peter has led the implementation of a cloud based solution within T Rowe Price using commercially available infrastructure. He will discuss the impact of Virtualization and Cloud Computing on Service Management and the resulting strategic and design outcomes in terms of speed of service, cost savings and customer satisfaction.
The afternoon keynote speaker is Eric Marks, CEO of Agile Path. Eric will focus on Governance, operational KPIs and metrics for CIOs. Eric will also discuss what IT and management skills will be valued as the cloud paradigm takes hold.
The program will have participation from the IT Service Management Forum and other professional organizations in the National Capital region. This year's Vendor Fair and Debate will be held on November 9, 2010 from 9 am to 4 pm at the beautiful National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Auditorium and Science Center in Silver Spring, MD.
