The US Army spends $50 billion US each year on transforming existing air and ground platforms including the Ground Combat Vehicle Program (GCV) and rotorcraft (combat helicopter) programs. For the fiscal year 2011 the US Army plans to spend £934 million on the Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV) program alone.
Brigade Combat Team (BCT) Modernization and Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV) program managers have requested a meeting place to discuss how to update, improve, sustain and network the US Army’s and Marine Corps’ fleet of ground and air vehicles. This includes Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV), unmanned vehicles, combat rotorcraft and unmanned aerial systems in support of the Soldier and Marine.
Defense Mobility Platform Integration (DMPI) is a conference and exhibition that will bring together all the leading policy makers, acquisition program managers, experienced system engineers and end users involved in major brigade combat team (BCT) modernization programs to find new and effective ways of enhancing the capabilities of next generation mobility platforms.
