The ISO/ IEC20000 Foundation course is the entry level course for the ISO/ IEC20000 standard for IT Service Management. Participants will learn the principles and core elements of the ISO/ IEC20000 standard for IT Service Management:
* ISO/ IEC20000-1 (Part 1) is the formal specification which defines the requirements that must be achieved.
* ISO/ IEC20000-2 (Part 2) describes a code of practice.
The ISO 20000 Foundations course curriculum features an interactive learning approach. In addition to exam preparation and practice quizzes, you will actively participate in "round table" style discussions and group exercises in order to give practical context to classroom concepts. This course will prepare you for success on the ISO 20000 Foundations Certification Exam, which is delivered on the final day of class. Candidates passing the exam will earn the ISO 20000 Foundations Certification.
Designed for executives and IT professionals from companies with substantial IT infrastructures, course participants either have an interest in ISO/IEC 20000 or are requesting their service providers to become ISO 20000 certified. The ISO/IEC 20000 Foundations training course provides 14 PDUs for participants who are PMP Certified.
