Join your industry colleagues in Ft. Myers, Florida, July 30-31, 2010, for the IJIS Institute Summer 2010 Industry Briefing and learn more about the state of information sharing in the public safety, justice, and homeland security markets, with topics like: The Bureau of Justice Assistance Update on Current Activities and Initiatives; Information Sharing in the States: What the Future Holds; The Impact of New Models of Policing on Technology; National Strategies for Fusion Centers; and INPUT’s FY2011 Opportunity and Trends.
Because of the significance of the Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative (NSI), the IJIS Institute is departing from our normal Industry Briefing format to bring you a special educational opportunity. On the second day, July 31, the Director of the NSI Program Management Office (PMO), Tom O’Reilly, will facilitate a training program designed exclusively for industry on ways to implement the new NSI. The training will feature fusion center and other high-level experts and policy makers as well as technical contributors and provide an educational foundation on the SAR Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) and functional specification, and the workflow for the NSI implementation.
