Christopher M. Ballister - Keynote Speaker
Chris Ballister is an Associate Partner for IBM Global Business Services supporting the service area for Security, Privacy, Wireless, and IT Governance. Chris was the Deputy CIO for the Office of the President and the US House of Representatives. Currently, he provides subject matter expert support in a variety of areas based on his experiences as a senior systems engineer and Chief Information Officer in several areas of executive government and industry. He has served in Senior Executive Service (SES) level positions in both Executive and Legislative branches of government and held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer for a small technology consulting company.
He provided systems engineering and technical support to congressionally sponsored programs including the Joint Counterintelligence Assessment Group (JCAG), the Counterintelligence Field Activity (CIFA) under Presidential Decision Directive 75, and the FBI Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force (FTTTF).

Richard Forno - Featured Speaker
Richard Forno's career includes helping build the first incident response and computer crimes investigation program for the US House of Representatives and serving as the first Chief Security Officer at Network Solutions (the InterNIC) where he designed and managed the global information assurance program for one of the Internet's most critical infrastructures. Since then, he has consulted with military and commercial clients on assorted projects pertaining to information operations and critical infrastructure protection.
Currently, he is a Principal Consultant for KRvW Associates, co-founder of Outbreak Security (a security training consultancy) and a Visiting Scientist at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is a course instructor for the CERT Coordination Center. Additionally, he continues to advise emerging technology security companies and serve on various corporate advisory boards.
