Obama appoints 'Sheriff Joe' to oversee new accountability plan

Nobody messes with Sheriff Joe Biden.

President Barack Obama launched his “Campaign to Cut Waste” June 13 and appointed Biden to lead it because, as Obama said in a video message posted on,  “no one messes with Joe.”

Stephanie Cutter, assistant to the president and deputy senior adviser, echoed that sentiment during a call with reporters the same day when she referred to Biden as “Sheriff Joe.”

Cutter said the president chose Biden to head the campaign because of the role the vice president played in implementing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

I sure am confident about this administration cutting waste now that we have one of the worst jokes for a VP overseeing this. The stimulus was a total disaster so this VP certainly did not help there. This admistration has wasted more money in its first two years than most have ever been able to waste in 8 years so I see this as more smoke and mirrors or, by a different name, politics.

The first thing Biden should have done was to cut all the CZARs, and the 2nd thing would be to cut himself!
