Customer Value Partners acquires Atlas Research

Customer Value Partners acquires Atlas Research to create a more formidable middle-tier player in federal health programs.

Customer Value Partners, a business and technology consulting firm, has acquired Atlas Research to further the former’s presence across federal health programs including several contract vehicles.

Around 170 Atlas employees will head over to CVP amid the buyer’s ongoing push to become a more formidable middle-tier player in the government market. Terms of the deal announced Tuesday were undisclosed.

“CVP’s vision as a fully integrated healthcare solutions and citizen services firm relies on expanding from a technology-centric services innovator to an end-to-end advisory, research, technology, and managed services firm,” CVP Founder and CEO Anirudh Kulkarni said in the release.

Some of the other capabilities CVP touts as bolstering with the addition of Atlas include human capital, pandemic planning and response, health equity, rural health, mental health, veterans and military health.

Founded in 2008, Atlas has carved out for itself a significant footprint at the Veterans Affairs Department in recent years. That includes a prime position on this potential $1 billion health care transformation contract vehicle awarded in Spring 2020 to a joint venture that Atlas is a partner in.

Atlas also counts the Food and Drug Administration as one of its customers and is one of many companies on the General Services Administration’s Human Capital and Training Solutions vehicle known as HCaTS.

Investment bank KippsDeSanto acted as exclusive financial adviser to Atlas.
