ECS makes executive promotions

ECS has promoted a pair of executives to C-level roles, including one who joined the government IT segment of ASGN through an acquisition.

Fairfax, Virginia-based ASGN said Thursday that former Senior Vice President John Heneghan moved up to chief operating officer, while former Blackstone Federal President Giles Kesteloot was named chief strategy officer.

Heneghan was senior VP of enterprise solutions for nearly three years and will now oversee all aspects of ECS’ customer delivery, business operations and business development functions.

Kesteloot joined ECS last year through the acquisition of Blackstone Federal. He most recently was senior VP of homeland security solutions for ECS.

Both executives will work closely with ECS' vice president of corporate development Dave West, who will continue to lead that business' merger-and-acquisition strategy and support the growth of both ECS and the broader ASGN corporation. West reports to ECS Chief Financial Officer Pamela Rothka.
