BAE secures $85M Air Force data security project
BAE System Inc. books an $85 million contract to help the Air Force’s research shop on efforts to support the sharing of sensitive information on government networks.
BAE Systems’ U.S. subsidiary has secured a five-year, $85 million contract to help the Air Force’s research shop develop and deploy new technologies to support transfers of sensitive information on government networks.
Technologies of interest to the Air Force Research Laboratory for this contract include new artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to help facilitate secure exchanges of data, BAE Systems Inc. said Wednesday.
“As the military cyberspace battlefield expands, we understand how critical it is that secure, innovative intelligence solutions are available to warfighting commands and combat support agencies to communicate safety and effectively,” said Pete Trainer, vice president and general manager of BAE Systems Inc.’s Air Force solutions business.
The contract will focus on cross-domain tools to help users transfer streaming video, images and audio.
