Huntington Ingalls takes $954M Air Force ISR order

Huntington Ingalls Industries wins a $954 million task order for manned and unmanned airborne ISR services to the Air Force.

Huntington Ingalls Industries has won a potential five-year, $954 million task order to support manned and unmanned airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance functions of the Air Force.

The Presistent Multi-Role Operations task order covers one base year followed by up to four individual option years and calls for the services to be delivered under a contractor owned-contractor operated model, HII said Thursday.

The General Services Administration’s FEDSIM acquisition center awarded the order via the governmentwide OASIS professional services vehicle. FEDSIM received two bids for the order, according to Federal Procurement Data System information.

Work will cover the Air Force’s areas of responsibility in Africa and Europe. HII said this order continues and expands work it currently performs in support of the Air Force, other Defense Department components, and strategic and operational partners.
