ICF names new federal division CTO
ICF promotes one of its own to be chief technology officer for the federal division and hires three other leaders to chart the firm's IT modernization strategy.
ICF has made one promotion and three hires within its federal business as the global technology and management consulting outfit positions for opportunities in IT modernization.
In an announcement, ICF said it elevated 11-year company veteran Kyle Tuberson to chief technology officer for the federal division from his current role as vice president and director of IT modernization and emerging technology.
The firm cites his 17 years of technology consulting experience and leadership of innovation efforts in areas such as blockchain, big data and Internet of Things. Tuberson also is a former head of ICF’s data science and analytics practice.
Last year, Tuberson was selected to the 2018 class of FCW Fed 100 award winners for his leadership of a team that developed a flu outbreak prediction platform for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Fairfax, Virginia-based ICF has hired 15-year technology market veteran David Simeon as principal and senior program director to focus on federal IT modernization capabilities and business development efforts there.
Simeon’s career prior to ICF includes a digital transformation leadership post at Pivotal Software and service as a division chief for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency, where he led adoption of emerging technologies that included an online filing system for naturalization.
ICF’s other major federal division hires it announced include Sean DuGuay as vice president for business development and Reena Patel as director of software engineering.
DuGuay is a 28-year federal IT veteran who most recently held BD roles at Excella and Professional Consulting, while Patel also is a veteran of Excella and prior to that worked for Johnston McLamb.
