Buchanan Edwards names new CEO & CFO

Buchanan & Edwards appoints a new CEO and brings back one of its former chief financial officers to the same position.
Buchanan & Edwards said Wednesday it has hired a new CEO and appointed one of the company’s former chief financial officers back to the same position.
Eric Olson, a former ECS Federal senior vice president and three-decade market veteran, was named to the chief executive role as BE looks to expand its technology solutions offerings for government agencies.
Olson joined ECS upon its acquisition of InfoReliance two years ago and has also held leadership roles at Mediachase, Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse.
BE has additional brought on Carter Wood as chief financial officer, the same role he held there from 2010 to 2015.
More recently, Wood was director of financial reporting at Cognosante. The two-decade government market veteran also held accounting roles at CGI and Deloitte.
