Three chosen for $446M DOD market research contract

Three firms are chosen for a $446 million blanket purchase agreement for IT research and informative services to defense agencies.

Three business and market intelligence providers have been awarded places on a 10-year, $446 million blanket purchase agreement awarded by the Navy for IT research and informative services.

Fedmine LLC, Forrester Research and Gartner will vie for firm-fixed-price task orders over the duration of the contract that aims to connect agencies with commercially-available tools and services, DOD said in its Monday awards digest.

All defense and intelligence agencies, plus the Coast Guard have access to the BPA that was issued as part of DOD’s Enterprise Software Initiative that consolidates IT product and service agreements.

The Navy awarded this pact through the GSA Federal Supply Schedule vehicle and received three offers out of 679 eligible vendors. Work will take place through March 24, 2029.

DOD has awarded several other contracts over the past 12 months as part of the ESI effort that aims to leverage its buying power and consolidate acquisitions of brand name IT products and services.
