CACI tapped for medical logistics work

CACI will support a military medical logistics system as it transitions to a new application.

CACI International has won a $8.6 million contract for IT services to support the Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System.

Known as TEWLS, the system supports military medical logistics and centralizes business functions such as depot operations, assembly build and management and supply chain distribution.

CACI will provide software maintenance services for configuration, technical sustainment and continued enhancement. Most of the work will take place at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

Work by CACI will include pre-planned product improvement, life cycle management, and technical integration support and reengineering services.

The work also will support the transition of TEWLS to the LogiCole application by 2020.

The contract also has four option periods and was awarded under GSA’s Schedule 70.
