NIH takes next step in completing CIO-SP3 SB on-ramp

NIH confirms new winners and has named intended awardees for the 8(a) portion of the CIO-SP3 on-ramp.

The National Institutes of Health has confirmed four winners and has named 95 other businesses as intended awardees for the 8(a) portion of the on-ramp of the $20 billion CIO-SP3 Small Business contract for IT services.

For the group of 95, they have some waiting to do before celebrations can commence however. NIH had to post its intent to make those awards so others can challenge whether that group meets small business size standards.

But the four confirmed awardees can evidently proceed: Apogee-SAIC Capabilities Integrator, Cloud Nine Technologies, Strategic Operational Solutions and Synergy Business Innovation and Solutions

This round of awards puts NIH one step closer to completing all on-ramp awards for each small business category in CIO-SP3, although the agency is still evaluating bids for the general small business category of the on-ramp.

NIH has finalized the HUBZone and service-disabled, veteran-owned tracks.
