Perspecta has booked a potential five-year, $89.5 million task order for maintenance services to support systems that process Medicare claims.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued the order through its Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract vehicle with work to take place over one base year followed by up to four option years, Perspecta said Tuesday. The agency received one other bid for the order, according to Federal Procurement Data Spending information.
This work will support processing of Medicare Part B claims related to physician services, certain durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies services and other outpatient services.
Perspecta’s services include development lifecycle support, application maintenance, production and user support for the processing of growing Part B claims.
The company has been the sixth-largest recipient of task orders since SPARC was originally awarded two years ago with $17 million in work awarded, according to Deltek data.
Launched in June, Perspecta inherited its place on SPARC after then-holder DXC Technology spun off its U.S. public sector business and merged it with Vencore and KeyPoint Government Solutions.
