Copper River to support Pentagon with cloud support services
Small business Copper River picked to supply the Washington Headquarter Services with cloud support services at the Pentagon under a $15.6 million contract.
Copper River Enterprise Services LLC was awarded a $15.6 million Army contract to provide cloud support services to the Pentagon.
Copper River will help the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) buy and establish cloud services that will manage IT more efficiently, cost effectively, and reliably. The company will also support WHS with gaining quick access to new advances in technology. The contract’s overall objective is to provide a single, integrated team to handle the changes and transitions related to the Washington Headquarters Service IT Support Initiative.
In addition, Copper River Enterprises will provide on-site IT support services for various platforms and offer help desk services to support software development.
The Washington Headquarters Services is responsible for the maintenance and renovations to the Pentagon and other buildings on the Pentagon campus.
Copper River Enterprises is an 8(a) small business with Alaska Native Corp. set-aside status.
The Army announced the award Sept. 25.
