L3 shifts Stackley, realigns maritime biz

L3 Technologies moves Sean Stackley the former Navy acquisition chief hired in January, to a new role that includes leadership over all maritime offerings.

L3 Technologies has shifted Sean Stackley, the former Navy acquisition chief hired in January, to a new role as president of the defense company’s communications and networked systems segment.

Stackley will succeed Andrew Ivers, who is slated to retire at the end of this year to pursue other opportunities, L3 said Monday.

The company realigned all of its maritime product and service offerings into the segment Stackley now oversees. This move comes nearly a month after L3 undertook another restructuring that saw it combine the aerospace systems and sensor systems segments into a new intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems segment.
