Dovel Technologies has won a five-year, $377 million contract to help operate and upgrade a federal grants management services platform used by multiple federal agencies.

This award continues Dovel's work over the past decade to support the growth of the GrantSolutions Center of Excellence from a handful at the start of the partnership to over 1,500 government programs, Dovel said Tuesday.

GrantSolutions manages more than $80 billion in grant awards for programs across the departments of Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, State and Treasury. Other agency users include the Environmental Protection Agency, Social Security Administratoin and Denali Commission.

The platform resides within HHS and is designated by the Office of Management and Budget as a software-as-a-service provider for other agencies.

McLean, Virginia-based Dovel inherited the work for GrantSolutions through its 2014 acquisition of IT services company RNSolutions, which developed the platform.
