Salient CRGT hires Anderson as defense, intell lead

Salient CRGT hires three-decade defense sector veteran and former General Dynamics executive John Anderson as sector president for defense and intelligence agencies.

Salient CRGT has hired three-decade defense sector veteran and former General Dynamics executive John Anderson as a sector president.

He will lead Salient CRGT's defense and intelligence agencies division and also oversee both growth initiatives and program execution, the company said Tuesday.

Anderson more recently was vice president for the defense agencies and Air Force organization at General Dynamics' IT services division, which he joined upon the CSRA acquisition in April.

He was a sector vice president at CSRA prior to the transaction and before that was a vice president at SRA International, one of two businesses that combined in 2015 to form CSRA.

Anderson is the second former GDIT-CSRA executive to join Salient CRGT since the deal closed as Rebecca Miller was named earlier this month as sector president for health and civilian agencies.

Before Anderson entered the private sector, he served in the Air Force and focused on cyber and information operations around the world. He retired at the rank of lieutenant colonel.
