Leidos hires Boera as Air Force account exec

Leido names Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael Boera as a vice president and strategic account executive.

Leidos has appointed retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael Boera as a vice president and strategic account executive.

Boera will lead efforts to build and cultivate Leidos' relationships with Air Force customers, the contractor said Tuesday.

The 33-year military veteran retired in 2014 and was more recently director of Air Force programs within the office of the deputy chief of staff for strategic plans and programs.

In that role, Boera was responsible for the development and integration of Air Force programs across the Future Years Defense Plan. He also managed the branch's corporate structure process.

After retirement, he joined Raytheon as a director of business development within that company's government services business.
