Carahsoft books $125M Red Hat distribution pact

Carahsoft has received a new $125 million BPA to distribute Red Hat software and IT services for defense and intelligence agencies along with the Coast Guard.
Carahsoft has received a new five-year blanket purchase agreement with a $125 million ceiling to distribute Red Hat software and IT services for defense and intelligence agencies along with the Coast Guard.
This pact falls under the Defense Department’s Enterprise Software Initiative that works to consolidate IT brand name product and services acquisitions for the military. Carahsoft said Wednesday the BPA is open for ordering by agencies worldwide and covers software, maintenance, support and training services.
The agreement is effective through April 1, 2023.
