Endeavor Robotics hires Adams as CFO

Unmanned ground vehicle maker Endeavor Robotics hires more than two-decade federal market veteran David Adams as chief financial officer.

Unmanned ground vehicle maker Endeavor Robotics said Tuesday it has hired more than two-decade federal market veteran David Adams as chief financial officer in an appointment that takes effect immediately.

Adams joins the Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based company as it expands the headquarters by around 10,000 square feet to add manufacturing space.

Endeavor Robotics -- the former iRobot defense business -- has strung together a series of wins over the past year including its April as one of two finalists for a $429 million Army contract alongside QinetiQ North America. The Army will choose one of the companies to proceed on the Common Robotic System Individual program through a down-select.

Private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners acquired the business in April 2016 from iRobot and subsequently rebranded it to the current Endeavor Robotics name.

Adams is a former CFO at Tribalco and the former QinetiQ North America services business, which he helped lead the sale of to the company now known as Vencore.

He was also VP of finance at Science Applications International Corp. and held the same role at TechnologyNet.
