CSRA joins Google Cloud partner program

CSRA joins Google's cloud partnership network to further expand the federal IT provider's industry partnership portfolio.

CSRA said Thursday it has joined Google's cloud partnership network to further expand the federal IT provider's industry partnership portfolio.

The pact covers the Google Cloud Platform and G Suite products, which CSRA's government customers such as the Defense Department will now have access to. CSRA is implementing the second iteration of DOD's milCloud environment under a $498 million contract.

This move brings Google into CSRA's portfolio of key alliance partners with other commercial IT companies such as Citrix, Dell-EMC, Brocade and IBM. CSRA won its first contract to provide Google-related services to a federal agency last month.

CRSA considers its partnerships with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure to be strategic alliances.

CSRA's partnerships with these commercial vendors and others were among many factors that attracted General Dynamics to bid for CSRA and more recently raise its offer over a competing proposal from CACI International.
