Jumper to depart Leidos board

Former Leidos Chairman and CEO John Jumper will leave its board of directors at the end of his term.
Former Leidos Chairman and CEO John Jumper will leave its board of directors at the end of his term, the company said Wednesday.
Jumper was appointed CEO in 2012 when the contractor was known as Science Applications International Corp. He then led the company through its split the following year into the two businesses now known as Leidos and the spinoff SAIC.
Roger Krone succeeded Jumper as chief executive in 2014 and then became board chairman in 2015.
The former Air Force chief of staff has been on the board of directors for 11 years. He retired from the Air Force in 2005 after a nearly four-decade career there.
