HHS hands down $207M IT services BPA

The Department of Health and Human Services awards a potential eight-year, $207 million IT services blanket purchase agreement to at least six companies.

At least six companies have won positions on a potential eight-year, $207 million blanket purchase agreement for IT services to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Washington Technology has so far identified as awardees Actionet, CSRA, Leidos, NuAxis, Peraton and Science Applications International Corp. HHS awarded the Next Generation IT Services Contract via the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70 vehicle.

The BPA covers a five-year base period with three one-year options. SAIC has also booked the BPA's first task order worth up to $74 million, according to online health IT community G2Xchange.

Services will encompass management, service desk, desk-side support, infrastructure operations, data center operations, service management and support, endpoint engineering and infrastructure engineering.
