Marines release draft for small biz portfolio management contract

The U.S. Marine Corps released a draft solicitation for a five-year, $48 million analytical, engineering and capability portfolio management contract.

The Marine Corps will award places on indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to approximately four service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.

The IDIQ will support the Director of Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) and Deputy Commandant Combat Development and Integration (DC, CD&I). Task orders will include developing comprehensive Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents and analyzing existing capabilities to define gaps, needs, and approaches to provide those capabilities.

The IDIQ’s requirements will be broken down into categories of:

  • Information warfare integration
  • Fires and maneuvers integration
  • Force protection integration
  • Intelligence integration
  • Logistics integration
  • Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) integration
  • Advocacy, transition, fiscal and personnel/operations
  • Seabasing integration
  • Expeditionary energy

CDD supports the DC, CD&I by developing and integrating war-fighting capabilities solutions. The solutions enable the Marine Corps to respond to strategic challenges and opportunities.

The Marine Corps released the draft solicitation Dec. 10.
