CSRA taps alliances to foster more innovation

CSRA was named a winner in the Best Use of Strategic Alliances category as part of the Washington Technology Industry Innovator awards program.

CSRA has built a partner ecosystem that has three levels: strategic alliance partners, key alliance partners and emerging technology partners.

Strategic partners are brought into the tent and the company shares pipeline information to jointly pursue opportunities. There is mutual investment in the relationship through training and the sharing of engineering and business development resources. CSRA has this kind of relationship with Microsoft and ServiceNow.

CSRA was recognized this week as the winner in the Best Use of Strategic Alliances category in Washington Technology's Industry Innovators awards program.

The company has over 40 key partners, which are generally leading technology companies. The collaboration occurs at a subset of the company go-to-market groups.

The emerging technology partners are generally smaller companies that CSRA identifies by workig with venture capital firm to identify promising companies. CSRA maps their capabilities to customer needs. They are often invited to present at CSRA’s in-house innovation days.

Many of the company’s technological skill are on display at the Integrated Technology Center it opened in 2016 in Bossier City, La. Here the company focuses on developing and delivering solutions for federal customers. It can deliver as-a-service solutions as well as traditional labor-based solutions. From here the company deploys automation and next-generation IT and cyber technologies.

CRSA’s technical prowess has been recognized in several marquee wins in the past year including DISA’s $498 million Milcloud contract, a $143 million IT support contract with the Marines Corps, and a $744 million Army FEDSIM task order.
