Engility adds $63 million in task orders for healthcare informatics and medical coding work at Air Force bases.

Engility Corp. has reported six wins of task orders worth $63 million combined for healthcare informatics and medical coding work at 14 Air Force bases.

Work will take place over one base year and up to four option years. The Air Force awarded the work to Engility in September, the company said Monday.

The Air Force Medical Services sought medical coding help in particular to help improve functions related to workload, reimbursement, provider currency, decision support, population health and disability services.

Engility evaluates traumatic brain injury and psychological health efforts for the Military Health System, works with the Defense Health Agency on medical trials and participates in work to deliver benefits through the Veterans Affairs Department.
