Navy awards $174M C4ISR contract package

The Navy awards four contracts worth up to $173.9 million combined over five years for C4ISR-related training services.
The Navy has awarded four contracts worth up to $173.9 million combined over a potential five-year period for training services to support C4ISR platforms -- command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
Awardees will vie for task orders to develop and implement new training mechanisms and schedule fleet training, the Defense Department said in its Monday contracts digest. Contractors will also compete to design and install technical training equipment.
Work will support the service branch’s submarine, ashore and tactical afloat shipboard C4ISR systems. Each contract covers a three-year base period followed by two option years and the Navy received nine proposals.
Contract award details are as follows:
- Alion Science and Technology: base value $24.5 million, ceiling value $41.4 million
- Camber Corp.: base value $25.2 million, ceiling value $43.9 million
- Del Rey Systems & Technology: base value $25.9 million, ceiling value $43.9 million
- ManTech International: base value $27.2 million, ceiling value $45.8 million
Huntington Ingalls Industries acquired Camber Corp. in December of last year.
