Engility has won a potential five-year, $39 million contract win for IT services to Navy and Coast Guard ship fleets in support of efforts to integrate technologies for a common setup at both agencies.

This award represents a takeaway win for Engility against incumbent and rival Booz Allen Hamilton, according to Deltek. The contract covers one base year and four one-year options.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command sought help to integrate network and communication systems as it works toward a single, consolidated and secure technology platform baseline for Navy and Coast Guard vessels.

SPAWAR also has tasked Engility to help design, integrate, test and deliver cyber functionalities to the Navy and Coast Guard during new ship construction and modernization work.
