Boeing receives $93M Air Force Sentry aircraft sustainment contract

Boeing gets a new five-year, $92.9 million contract for sustainment engineering and technical support on Sentry surveillance aircraft by NATO and four other countries.
Boeing has received a new five-year, $92.9 million sole-source contract from the Air Force for sustainment engineering and technical support on E-3 Sentry surveillance aircraft.
The contract covers work to generate technical requirements for Airborne Warning and Control System planes flown by NATO, Japan, Saudi Arabia, France and the U.K. Australia, South Korea and Turkey also operate AWACS planes in their fleet.
AWACS aircraft are built to offer air forces airborne surveillance, communications and battle management functions.
Work under this latest contract will take place through July 9, 2022.
