ManTech reports almost $450M in CBP, FBI tech services contracts

ManTech International has reported a pair of contract awards worth up to almost $450 million combined for technology-related services to the U.S. Customs and Protection agency and FBI.

CBP awarded ManTech a potential five-year, $229 million task order under the DHS EAGLE II contract vehicle for business intelligence services to support CBP personnel in efforts to track cargo and individuals that enter the U.S.

The agency seeks to bolster its efforts to analyze potential terrorism threats and changes in those, develop CBP-wide intelligence-based targeting rules and coordinate targeting functions.

Work will include project management, intelligence analysis, predictive modeling, threat research support and provision of software platforms.

That task order from CBP covers work for one base year and includes options to extend services for up to four years.

Separately, the FBI chose ManTech for a potential $220 million contract to perform enterprise IT infrastructure services for the bureau’s organization that oversees nationwide criminal data and information systems.

Based in Clarksburg, W. VA, the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services division helps connect partner agencies in the law enforcement, national security and intelligence community to information on incidents of crime and identities of potential criminals.

ManTech will help CJIS run the division’s Justice and Public Safety Systems portfolio that supports daily public safety and intelligence information deliveries.

Shares in ManTech traded 1.2 percent higher to $39.54 in morning trade.
