CenturyLink lands GSA Federal Acquisition Service VoIP contract

CenturyLink will install a new contact center and call system for GSA's Federal Acquisition Service under a potential five-year, $6 million contract.

CenturyLink has won a potential five-year, $6 million contract to implement a new contact center and call system for the General Service Administration’s Federal Acquisition Service.

GSA awarded the contract through its IT Schedule 70 vehicle and the first base year is worth $1.3 million. Another four one-year options would extend the contract to its full ceiling value.

FAS tasked CenturyLink to install the hosted contact center, new interfaces and redundancies for the agency to handle up to 800,000 inbound and outbound calls per year.

CenturyLink came in 34th on Washington Technology’s list of the Top 100 federal government IT contractors in 2016.
