Accenture makes another cyber deal with pick up of Endgame's federal business

Accenture Federal Services has acquired the U.S. federal government services business of Endgame Inc.

Accenture Federal Services has acquired the U.S. federal government services business of Endgame Inc.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Arlington, Va., Endgame is a privately held endpoint detection and response cybersecurity software company. The company’s federal government business specializes in cyber defense, “hunt-as-a-service” capabilities, red teaming and cyber operations, the company said in a release.

Hunt-as-a-service refers to hunting threats and eliminating them before they do damage.

Endgame will bring Accenture Federal additional cybersecurity and cyber hunt capabilities.

The two companies recently launched an alliance and created a hunt-as-a-service offering for commercial clients that will soon be available for government customers.

The alliance and subsequent acquisition allows Endgame to support and grow its base of federal customers, the company said.

Accenture is no stranger to cyber-focused acquisitions; the company closed on a deal to acquire Defense Point Security LLC in October 2016.
