CGI has won a $102 million task order to provide the Homeland Security Department identity management for 26 federal agencies.

The Credential Management Task Order was awarded on behalf of the Homeland Security Department by the General Services Administration Federal Acquisition Service. It will last two years.

Under the task order, CGI will provide with tools, sensors and services to implement elements of credential management, which the company said in a release is a key element of the CDM Phase 2 Program to strengthen policies and practices for all authorized users at participating agencies.

The company will also help federal agencies working to comply with the White House's Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan, which requires strong authentication for network accounts of unprivileged users, CGI said.
