Northrop Grumman to support Hunter UAV under $190M contract

Northrop Grumman has won a $190.3 million contract to continue logistics support for the Army’s Hunter unmanned aerial vehicles.

Northrop Grumman has won a $190.3 million contract to continue logistics support for the Army’s Hunter unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to Northrop Grumman, the Hunter UAV is a long-endurance, medium altitude UAV used to obtain intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Under the contract, the company will provide logistics in support of the UAV.

Work will be performed in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Afghanistan and is expected to be completed in October 2018.

The contract was contracted out by the Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen, Md.
