DRS scores $339.3M contract to support Army enemy engagement system

DRS Network and Imaging Systems has won a $339.3 million contract to support the Army’s Joint Effects Targeting System.

DRS Network and Imaging Systems has won a $339.3 million contract to support the Army’s Joint Effects Targeting System.

The JETS system is a hand-held capability to acquire, locate and engage targets with precision-guided munitions. The stem also helps with unguided munitions, the Army said on its website.

DRS was one of two companies to bid on this contract, which was contracted out by the Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen, Md.
