System Plus nabs $39.9M contract to support DHA training methods

System Plus Inc. has won a $39.9 million contract to help the Defense Health Agency with its training efforts as the agency transitions to the Military Health System Genesis in the coming years.

System Plus Inc. has won a $39.9 million contract to help the Defense Health Agency with its training efforts as the agency transitions to the Military Health System Genesis in the coming years.

Under the contract, System Plus Inc. will also support broader training to allow the agency to provide increased and surge support to the systems not covered by previous training contracts.

According to a Defense Department release, System Plus’ contract includes optional contract line item numbers for support to other applications for which future funding could be applied.

In order to support the Defense Heath Agency’s training needs, System Plus will provide various means of training including a web-based/virtual classroom, eLearning events, and a hands-on training model, but the Defense Health Agency will decide which method is best, the Defense Department said.

This contract was awarded through the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70 contract vehicle.
