Two companies have won contracts with the Navy to support the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) system.

The winners are:

  • Raytheon - $30.3 million
  • DRS Laurel Technologies - $11.5 million

The CEC system improves battle force anti-air warfare capability by distributing sensor information, thereby improving overall situational awareness, the Defense Department said in a release.
