Lockheed Martin has won a $344 million contract to develop and implement the Terminal Flight Data Manager system for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Lockheed Martin has won a $344 million contract to develop and implement the Terminal Flight Data Manager system for the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Terminal Flight Data Manager system will provide electronic flight strips and surface management tools to streamline operations in air traffic control towers and effectively stage arrivals and departures, the company said in a release.

Lockheed Martin will work with subcontractor Saab Sensis under the contract, which has a performance period of five years with seven one-year options.
