Leidos wins $75M contract to support Federal Highway Administration lab

Leidos has won a $75 million contract to deliver technical support services to the Federal Highway Administration Office of Operations Research & Development and the Saxton Transportation Operations Laboratory.

Leidos has won a $75 million contract to deliver technical support services to the Federal Highway Administration Office of Operations Research & Development and the Saxton Transportation Operations Laboratory.

The Saxton Laboratory is a facility that conducts transportation operations research to improve transportation services and technologies before the Federal Highway Administration commits to further investment and support.

Under the five-year contract, Leidos will offer technical support and research services and assistances, conduct laboratory and field experiments and develop and design systems that encourage enhanced mobility, the company said in a release. Most of the work will be performed in McLean, Va.
