Lockheed Martin wins $733M task order to improve Army equipment

Lockheed Martin has won a $733 million task order to support the U.S Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground and improve sensor equipment and data collection.  

Under the Sensor Systems - Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance task order, Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions will provide personnel to operate and work on equipment, facilities and infrastructures to improve performance and reduce costs.

The one-year task order with two option years was awarded under the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command Rapid Response task order contract, the company said in a release.

Work is expected to be completed in March 2019 with options.
