ManTech nabs $47.2M contract to continue SMLIS support

ManTech Systems Engineering has won a $47.2 million contract modification to continue its support of the Navy Ship Maintenance and Logistics Information Systems program.
The base value of the contract is $11.8 million.
The SMLIS program supports U.S. Navy shore-based maintenance and logistics information technology systems that used to support a wide variety of business processes at the naval shipyards, regional maintenance facilities, ship repair facilities, and NAVSEA headquarters, according to a FedBizOpps notice.
Under the contract, ManTech will provide engineering support in the areas of information technology life cycle planning, operations and sustainment, documentation, program management, application technical refresh, testing, training, and deployment.
Work is expected to be completed in July 2017.
