The Army intends to issue as many as four awards under a five-year, $20 million software programming task order contract.
The Army intends to issue as many as four awards under a five-year, $20 million software programming contract set aside for small businesses.
The awardees will support the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS). The Army needs services and equipment for systems analysis and design, software programming, database administration, database architecture, integration, and enterprise analysis and assessments.
JIATFS was created as a result of presidential directive, which ordered a review of the command and control and intelligence centers involved in international counter-illicit trafficking operations.
The C5I works on engineering, programming, and operational services that are geared to fuse intelligence and operations functions, computer network defense, and information assurance.
The Army released the request for proposals April 14. Responses are due by May 16.
